Easel Paintings

Easel paintings are generally considered as to be small enough to fit on an easel; in other words, from very small to about 8’x 8’. The larger sizes can be considered small murals. These are paintings that can be framed and hung on the wall as artwork. The artist paints them on canvas that is stretched or backed with a panel. They might be portraits of your dogs, house, or boat; paintings of your favorite landscape or view, a whimsical trompe l’oeil, or a historical recreation. Your imagination is your only limitation when it comes to the subject matter or style.
